The Importance of Running a system

We Talk alot about guns here, but one of the few things that we don't discuss much is systems. Now Im not talking about your computer, Im talking about your personal philosophy on why you have your weapons/gear/mindset. For instance Many of you who come here do so because of our Zombie posts. Maybe you want to find out how to survive the Zombie Apocalypse, If you are new to firearms you want to know what to use and why. Some people into the survivalist Genre like to rough it in the wild, maybe they just want to see what others are doing or seeing what Bags or other camping and hiking gear others are using. regardless of your reason for being here you have to admit that you come here to see if something is worth your time and money. Who better to review this stuff than someone who isn't making money from a company for sponsoring their product eh?

Anyways back to what we were actually talking about, systems are important because they guide you In your choices on gear/weapons/ammo/ect. It helps you determine your budget, and whats important. Systems also involve alot of grey area because whats important to one person isn't always top priority to another. For instance if you were going to rough it in the woods you may simply choose a backpack gun and a revolver. Why? your core focus isn't combat, its self defense and hunting. while on the other hand a guy who is joining the local unorganized militia may be preparing provisions for needing to defend his city in the event that foreign powers invade. That person will have a more combat focused loadout that may not be suitable for roughing it in the woods. Some of us Own boats and want some gear for the event that they get stranded at sea and need to survive until rescue. Each of these are all valid survivalist loadouts/systems but have differing entry budgets and suggested gear.

So before we get into the nitty gritty on this I want you to ask yourself what do you plan to do? I will be writing on a few differing Loadouts and If You would like to email me for some suggested gear do so through apachesurvival<|AT|>gmail.com.
